The Spring Book Fair will be set up in our library from Monday, March 4 – Friday, March 8, 2013 from 7:15 am – 3:30 pm.

Stop by to purchase some new books, posters, pencils, etc!

Classes will be making scheduled visits to the library, but parents and guests are welcome to visit the library.

Christian Evers PTA’s 2nd Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser!

8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Any and all donations will be accepted Monday, February 25 – Thursday, February 28 in the school’s front office until 4:00 pm and on Friday, March 1 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm in the gym.

Suggested donations: bikes, toys, clothing, housewares, books, costumes, sporting equipment, baby items, etc.

All items should be clean and in good conditation. We cannot accept mattresses and car seats. Unsold merchandise will be donated to Goodwill after the sale.

Report Cards went home on Friday, January 25. 2nd nine weeks report card letter 12-13

Enjoy 2 weeks off for Winter Break! Students will be off for the weeks between December 24 – January 4.

Parents, please make sure your students relax and enjoy this time off – however students can always practice their reading and math facts.

Remember to pre-order your Evers Elementary long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt by November 30, 2012. The maroon long sleeved shirt shirt is only $14 and the maroon sweatshirt is only $24. It is just in time for the cooler weather and as Christmas is right around the corner!

Report Cards went home on November 2, 2012. Attached is the letter from all Report Cards.

Evers’ Student Council is sponsoring a Can Food Drive benefitting the San Antonio Food Bank. The Can Drive runs nopw through Friday. November 9, 2012. Please donate any canned or nonperishable food items!

Thank you for all who have turned in Box Tops to support Education here at Evers! We collect the Box Tops year round. Our first submission for the year totaled 14, 430 Box tops equaling $1,443.00!!  This money goes directly back to the school and our students! If you have any questions about Box Tops, please ask with office or see Ms. Witter.

Evers Elementary is supporting a great cause. Jayci’s Wreaths for Heroes/Wreaths Across America mission to to place a wreath on every grace a Fort Sam Houston. With San Antonio’s large military population, this is a fantastic cause to support! For every 2 wreaths that are purchased, 1 more wreath will be donated.

There will be also another event to sponsor Wreaths Across America at Peter Piper Pizza on Bandera and Huebner Road on Tuesday, October 25th, 2012 between 4:30 -7:30.
